The much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai, and the arch-rivals could potentially face each other up to three times if both advance to the Super 4 stage and the final.

Out of the 19 matches in this edition, 11—including the grand finale—will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, while the remaining eight fixtures will take place at Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.

Organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the Asia Cup has been held biennially since its inception in 1983 to determine the continent’s cricketing champions.

The 17th edition will see eight participating teams split into two groups. The top two from each group will move on to the Super 4 stage, and the best two from there will battle it out in the final on September 28.
